Photo of Massive Bulldog Flying First Class Goes Viral
Imagine flying First Class, looking across the aisle and seeing a massive 160-pound bulldog sitting in one of the seats!
‘Hank the Tank’ is a frequent flyer, according to owner Kari Whitman, a former Playboy Playmate from 1988, turned interior designer to the stars, who also runs a dog rescue.
Hank is Whitman’s certified therapy dog (for her optical migraines) and alerts her when one of her migraines is coming on to remind her to take her medicine.
An incredulous twitter user who goes by the handle @madeleinedoux snapped a photo at LAX sent these tweets:
His owner, Kari Whitman, saved his life by adopting him from an LA dog shelter where he was days away from being put down.
Due to a medical condition Hank is not able to walk and instead travels on a custom-made cart, complete with pillows.
Hank flies regularly with Whitman and always creates a stir among passengers and crew.
Whitman said Hank is now down to 146 LBs and is working on slimming him down to a healthy weight. He is a very lucky boy to have such a caring owner!
Here at BigDawg.Media, we happen to have three Olde English Bulldogge mascots, whose photos are featured on our FaceBook page, so we are a bit partial to bulldogs…especially great bulldog stories like these!
